Swish -

What do you think about moving 1 place - "either way " - just to keep them within the 1st 6 in the "betting Forecast ??

If we had moved "up" when in the top quarter - and "down" when in the bottem quarter - we would have got -

L - 12/1 - L - 5/1 - L - 4/1 - 15/2 - L

I think ! Confused

co-incidence ?

maybe I'l put up the "alternatives" as well -

any thoughts ?

if the price holds up - then Lord Nellson looks a "value" EW bet - "NOT" !

Confused

I think that seanrua has the answer - where he indicates the price at which it is worth taking the place bet - below which is not good enough to recover previos losses .

Hi TC,

I feel this selection method would be profitable if you stop at the first return - 2nd bet today , I think.

OK, Stop AT a Winner is generally frowned upon, and today you'd have missed out on your 12/1 winner, but I think records will show that being content with a daily profit ( not always achievable, btw) cuts out a lot of the long losing runs.

With the " no less than 3 on Betfair place market" cut-out, you may decide to bet "win only" on those shorties like that 2/1 winner, or, leave it out, and wait for one at your price.

Thanks Seanrua -

Appreciate you "Long Term Wisdom"

I titled my selections - "total bollocks" - and of course - at the moment - so they are -

They are just "Unfiltered" picks from a system that I think - shows promise - they have so far covered "every race" - which of course is "Silly"

From tommorow I shall start to put up - Fewer selections - Having applied some "Filters" -

Pointless at the moment - suggesting what they are as they may or may not work !

However if they do , then I will "Put them Up" Smile

Filtered "bollocks" - for a place

Chelt

1.45 - French Executive - 2nd 9/2

2.20 - King Revo - 1st 9/2

2.55 - Double Honour - L

3.30 - Curtens Hill - L

Donc

12.25 - Dark Society - L

1.00 - Travello - NR

1.35 - A Bit of Fun - 1st 5/2

2.45 - Lauderdale - L

That gives 3 winning bets on the trot - then a loosing run of 3

Why say that ? - I am wondering if a Dawson staking plan is viable ? - (Don't mention that to Gummy Big Grin )

Since I have had - "Bugger All " responce to my Postings of the "Selections" -

Proposed by the " System" - that Swish and his sadly deceased "Friend" have suggested -

I will stop - "Putting them up " !!

I - "Understand" the "frustration" that - Swish - frequently expresses - at the lack of "Responce" - to his -

"Very Knowlegable Posts " !!!!!!!!!!

sorry Swish

It didn't work - AGAIN !!!

investor -

you have an "UNBEIEVABLE" incapacity to read the "Written Word"

IN "Parrallel" to my "Total Bollocks " selections -

I Have been putting up the selections that Swish Proposed - and - it is "these Selections" that I am now going to stop posting !!!

In contrast !!!!!

I am going to try and turn my "Total Bollocks" selections -

into the "Absolute - "Dogs Bollocks"" " !!!

-

Try Posting a "Bloody Selection" -

You couldn't do so - to "Save your Life " Big Grin

"IQ" - wots that sir ???

tc

If your are "unable" - to read, my Posts - or Seanruas - "Correctly" -

Then what "Bloody Chance" have you - of reading - "VDWs" !!! Roll Eyes

no Swishes idea had absolutly - nowt - to do with VDW - I think it was based on the bias towards the "Top Quarter of the Handicap" - something I think you have looked at !

TC: Swish's thinking was based on reality, class is a nebulous concept and accordingly too insubstantial a foundation for either method or system.
