pkboy, investor, mtoto, thanks for your replies, what is the 2nd numerical picture van der wheil stated in pegwell bays example, roushayd the only horse at the races, bin shaddad, also the only horse at the races, ala hounak, shimshek, do not have much in the way of class as horses, ....shimshek, runs 2nd in class 254, this should indicate to you the importance of class?

Well, that's reassuring to see, Investor! Thank you.

Even I can read and understand race reports.

Still haven't twigged what Lee meant when he talks about " what a horse shows from the distance".

He did tell us that to see this, we don't use race reports or speed figures.

Got me well and truly bollixed!
I suppose you know yourself, but are not allowed to tell us the " key".

Btw, did you make Penel a stand out bet? I did, luckily.

Investor,

race 967...(hdway)5f out 3rd st hung rt and one pace fnl 2f

To this you should add finished 6th beaten 9 lengths.

[The Sporting Life also added the words soon weakened]

Then look at............

2nd straight, every chance over 1f out, ridden, ran on

Beaten under a length, This is Shimshek in his last race before the Aston Stakes VDW wrote about this performance .........

[when you examine the form it does not make the pulse quicken. The race was slow AND THE HORSH DID NOTHING FROM THE DISTANCE.]

The deciding factor seems to be one race was fast the other slow.

Be Lucky

TC,

Can rarely solve anything below class D on any surface - mind you I can rarely solve anything above either!!

Interesting that your best results were at Fontwell, which was the better NH meeting today.

Certainly your approach seems to be successful from a place point of view, good luck.

You can't be making it pay just placing at them prices surely. Why not split your stake and do a win and place double(mtoto's idea that one) i think you would do better than just placing judging by the results and prices.

Almost wish that I haddent suggested splitting the 4 elements Big Grin

Having trouble finding, just where to place this Post Big Grin -

However - re Dancing Mystery - today -

it was "miles clear" on Topspeed" lto - at 114 - and at 7/1 - it was a EW bet to nothing !!

Fav had seveal questions to answer - not least "Distance" - !!

Tuppenycat,
You took over and listed them for me, so I left you to it.
Simple as that.
Now you have stopped listing them, I do not know how they did. Doesn't matter really, prob Confusedably bollocks.
