You are wrong about Lee's intentions, of that I am fairly certain.
I have seen enough tripe peddled on this board to recognise beef when I see it, and hopefully understand enough about VDW to comprehend how most of the major contributors work.
After 3 years on this board, for the first time I am impressed, not only by Lee's approach, but also his willingness to share some of it. Surely that is what this thread is about?

From the jockeys mentioned above & they are deemed as top jocks on the flat, there is only 3lbs in weight difference.

If excess dead weight is deemed as a negative & a horse fell in the first 5 or 6 in the b/f/c then who would want it on their side?.

johnd -

For once, your views - co-incide with Lee's - Fine ! - but don't set him up as a - Godhead !!

He has contributed "Nothing" - and - has "Nothing " to " Contribute " -

he is a "SAD" - loser !!

Let him prove "otherwise" !!

I have "Sod All To Contribute " cept a 10/1 winner at Nott today - a 33/1 winner in the Gold Cup - and the 1/2/3 - in some bloody expensive race that I can't remember - cept - it was regarded as "Impossible " !! - and Lee posted - "After the Race" - that - pre race I had talked a load of "SH*t" - he Posted - Bugger all !!

    Jd,
I'm all in favour of sharing.
Its just I've trained a few dogs in my time and its based on holding out titbits. Still as you are more familiar with the subject than myself and you can see something in this enigmatic last 2/3 furlongs business, I shall keep quiet.

Farting again!

I have just read your homework piece. Is this a topical issue for you at the moment?

I see no qualifying race for VDW methodology today. The 430 Salisbury is an interesting £9.8K C1 race, but it's for 2yos.

Despite this, my selection is Marching Song. I have backed him to place (1st or 2nd).

As regards farting, I must admit I don't know what VDW said about it, but i should warn viewers that the Ouzlem bird, that has been known to frequent habitats like this thread, should not be approached by members of the public.

These dangerous creatures date back to prehistoric times, and when disturbed from their regular routine of flying round in ever-decreasing circles till they disappear up their ass, they have been known to pluck up enough courage to put their feet on the ground.

Far from being a sign of submission, this is when they are at their most dangerous.
If you show too much interest, they will immediately stick their beak in the ground and whistle out of their ass. The effect of this can be devastating, as they are full of high -pressure shit!

Be aware.

Many thanks for the reply.
I cannot see where it specifically states that VDW backed Stray Shot, Zamandra, Buckskin, Sunset Christo and Uther Pendragon but that’s probably not important.
As I said I have not looked at all the examples, this is because I do not have all the form books.
However does all of the above and Wayward Lad of course have the same common denominator as Celtic Pleasure, Battlement, Rifle Brigade, Orchestra and Derrylin. Also Pragmatic, Inside Quarter, Lyric Dance, One In A Million, Ela-Mana-Mou, Hawaiin Sound, Vaigly Great and Lyphard’s Wish. Finally non VDW bets Swiss Maid, My Therape and Baronet. As these horses I can look at in more depth.
