Thanks for the candid reply, it has helped sort one or two misconceptions I had.

Tc/Nessie
Cutting a bit of slack might be in order, Lee is being extremely helpful, though some may not appreciate it a this point.
He is an asset to this forum, not an accolade given lighly, and p***ing him off serves no useful purpose.

johnd -

Lee comes across to me as _ "Damm all use " to anyone - and I would be quite happy if he crawled back to the shambles of a Thread that he went off to try and start up in "opposition" to this !!

If he is only prepared to reveal -"His" - probably - "Useless" VDW "Secrets" - in exchange for "Cash" - Then he has no place on this Forum -

I have looked through his postings and can find - "Nothing" except - "Egotistical -Claptrap" - Nothing of any worth whatsoever !!

Point me in the direction of a few - Postings - that have clearly explained his "Understanding" rather than being masked by "Smoke and Mirrors"

He has clearly got you "Under His Spell" - but to me he is just a "Sad - Lonely" poster who is claiming an understanding - and - "Secret Knowledge" of a Subject of which to me - he has yet to demonstrate any "Mastery"

SAD !!!

Lee,

You are a clever fellow. I expect you do quite well at the nags and at life in general as you demonstrate confidence, guile, and disguise your intentions well.

You ve got this lot in a tizzy, by quietly assuming the role of being a master reluctant to teach. And rather stupidly some of them want to persuade you to give them tutorials.

To cap the complaints about your authority to teach you then issue a private challenge to all and sundry. Well, I m not sure what form this 'challenge' takes, nor if I can comply with the conditions but please email me the details of what you have in mind as I am inclined to call your bluff.

My address is johngringo@uze.com.br

Since they have started to return - The old "High Priests" have begun to turn this thread back into the -"Standing Joke"- that it had become to the rest of the Forum !!! Frown

Smile Nessie! Smile Believe in yourself!

I think you are v good, far better than most at this game.

I intend to discover what the 'challenge' involves. Sometimes its wrong to sniff around, better just to rush in!

Notice how all theses challenges go to private emails
What happend to the great Greg/Lee challenge

Understand this
and its not hard to follow

Once Lee reveals his secret
He is no longer indispensable
And that "tells its own story" Wink

End of story

Walter,

Sorry for not posting the riding weights. Will hopefully do so later this evening.

ALL,

I've not posted much on here for nearly a year and the recent events are the reason why.

I cannot offer anything of great worth with regards to VDW but believe me 2 people who know the time of day are LEE and MTOTO.

I have never met either and have only corresponded with both primarily via this website but you only have to read what they write to know they are worth listening to.

Go back and read their posts and learn.

Some want Lee to explain the common denominator but why should he. I'm sure it was found after 100's of hours of hard work.

I'm sure he's offered enough clues for those clever enough to work it out.

Sadly I am not one of them.

TC,

You know nothing about me, what I’m like, or what makes me tick. I appreciate that this medium of communication can sometimes distort the vision, but anyone who knows me properly will tell you that you are wide of the mark.

To say that I’m looking for cash in exchange for my knowledge is as far from the truth as you can get. There is an underlying reason why I continue to post about VDW, however, as I suggested to Nessie, I have no desire to give all and sundry a view of what lies behind my Avatar, but it is something completely different to what you obviously imagine. I’ve been there and got the T-shirt, and paid the biggest price you could imagine.

A person who was a member of this board HAS absolutely everything that I know about VDW and will tell you as much.

Nessie,

Like I’ve said, I’ve no intentions of posting my reasons on here, and so we’ll leave it at that.

JIB,

Not sure about clever, just lucky.

You have my email address. It’s an even money bet. Winner takes all, simple as that.

I'm simply not clever enough Determined. You see I'm always told its all there just read what is there not what you think is there. and now youhave just told me to go read their posts!
I have! I keep reading and re reading and asking and hoping. but Im just to thik for the job. all i want is some help even JIB says im stupid.

a millionare was guest of honor at a dinner. he told the story of how when he left school he went for a job cleaning toiles but he didnt read or write so didnt get the job. so he decided to start a market stall. after 40 years he now owned the market. "just think what you could have acheived if you could read and write " said a guest. "Yes I could be cleaning the toilets"

Icant read or write very well either.

Right, calm down, everybody. It was only a commercial.

Onto TC's post:

"I believe that this business about grade C and below - is nowadays a load of "Bo**ks" -"..

Well, TC, I have to admit that 2yo maidens are my own forte/weakness (sounds pervy, doesn't it?), so I guess I agree to some extent, but, the slightly VDW -related point I was making is that the prizemoney-check works best at grade C and above: even Robin LLoyd himself told me this, back in the 90s.

Of course, it doesn't mean that we have to do this in our own punting, any more than if we went to nite-school to study origami we would be bound to fold paper for the rest of our days!

Actually, it does make sense to stick to higher classes when we're looking for the highest class.

I guess it's a bit like soccer: if we had some weird and wonderful system to win the pools, that was based on the transfer fee values of soccerplayers, there would be no point looking in the reserve team of the Red Lion sunday pub league, but it would possibly have more relevance in the English premier league. D'you see my point?

Today's selection (no bet, as pointed out) was my biggest flop since I started investigating this prize money malarkey, and, my conclusion remains the same:
"only fk about with prize money values when you're looking at expensive races."

We can call that the VD and Scar method, if you like!

Anyway, keep winning! It's only money (real or makebelieve)!

Nessie,

I didnt say you were stupid. I said you had been stupid. There is a difference. We all are stupid from time to time. Remember the saying about 'show me a man who has never made a mistake and I will show you a man who has done nothing'?

On the contrary I said you were v good at this game which would not be possible if you were stupid.

I may be wrong, but I think you dont write well because you have dyslexia a complaint that contrary to its manifestation bears absolutely no relationship to IQ.
