I'll post the selections here so that anyone can comment on whether they think the compression horse has the form to win or not. At the moment I think following them blind will give more profit but it will be interesting to see you guys give a form view before the race. All comments pre race welcomed.

2.55 Cheltenham

Nicholls has compressed the weights with Cenkos to suit ARMATURK..nice price

People thought the same last year with Kaddaran after his stunning effort in the Halden, but Cenkos still did it. If anything Cenkos appears to be in even better Form than last year.Just double checking on Armaturk - put a hill in front of him and he thinks its too much like hard work.

You may be right, but I suspect it's more a question of limited opportunities for Cenkos.

Armaturk is a flat course specialist, who has failed at Cheltenham in the past. Has had a breathing operation this summer though, which might help.

Cenkos though carries the same weight as last year, but off a 2lbs lower mark - it could be his best chance of winning this year.

Armaturk has had 6 runs at Cheltenham and never looked like winning. Furthermore he was probably placed to win lto, now on an all time highest OR so will need to improve again. Not for me.

Imo,Armaturk poses a big threat today.Won cosily lto carrying top weight i personally wouldn't back this horse today because of the presence of Well Chief which is miles clear of these on class but is a novice and is going into h/cap company in a chase for the first time,It's a watcher for me,But i certainly wouldn't rule out Armaturk. at the moment the random betting of these is showing up well

some logical comments here but I had a little on at 10.0 on BF as I do believe that intent will be the main reason for backing these rather than form.

Good input guys.

These are now showing whopping profits over the las few weeks just randomly backing them.

but look at the negatives highlighted beforehand Investor, many though the course would find it out.

this is the beauty of putting the views down beforehand.

we can learn from races everyday if we write down views before the race..a worthwhile exercise.

I'll still keep backing these blind though Razz

I can understand the course being a concern,But these methods are about balance,And what also must be bore in mind ( your not going to like this ) was the horse a form horse for those particular runs at cheltenham. Smile

Well Done Ectoo!

Investor,

You are getting bold after the result again! Before the off you bark like a Pekinese, after the race you roar like a lion.

Investor,

Before the race you like to fart and put the blame on someone else, after everyone has left the room you start laughing!

Like i say,You don't like it do you.You did the same when i dutched on underpants..Oh epi sob sob investors dutching. You want to get some of them kleenex off Lee you bloody big baby. What's more i didn't play in the race so it matters not i was expressing an opinion,But you went with your beloved O.R's instead of class and form and what a horse has achieved on the track which is what these methods are all about. Smile

Investor,

You send me the following message:
Jib
Armaturk had just won a 17 grand h/cap chase. Is there anything in the race that betters that recently that is in form.

Then you tell me:
What's more i didn't play in the race so it matters not i was expressing an opinion,But you went with your beloved O.R's instead of class and form and what a horse has achieved on the track which is what these methods are all about.

It looks to me that you just wait for people like myself to have a losing bet so you can poke fun at them. Or do your statements reproduced above serve any serious purpose or contain any logical intent?

You generally pick two or three horses before the off with the conclusion that as nothing is clear it is a no bet race. You then perform embarrassing contorsions after the race to tell us the winner was an excellent example of your methods. Your recent post on the 'vdw cont'd' thread is a nice example which I shall reproduce for your perusal:

Well i'm going to aftertime ( i mentioned the 2 horses prior to the off so maybe you'll forgive me) I mentioned Not looking past MARCEL/NYRCHE This morning.I was fairly certain that the winner would come from 1 of 3 horses (that needs thinking about)And Rising Moon wasn't one of them.Iv'e watched reems of horses go into the winners enclosure in Novice Hurdles without a penny on.The only reason being that all vdw's examples are in Novice chases handicap chases and h/cap hurdles. This horse was a good thing today,Make no mistake about that.I was in the bookies and screwed my betting slip up twice. But 5/1 was a crazy crazy price for this horse.I would advise anybody who is really interested in vdw to have a good look at this horse because to my mind he was a classic good thing.
