Investor: VDW theology is at best expextced to find the winner in 3.5% of total races run. One of the problems with aftertimiming is that it leglects the races that didn't have a "winner" in 'em from the VDW aspect. In short, dont be so ****ing modest. (Spelling eccenticities left as a belated christmas pressy)

I'm starting to lose the plot again when trying to fathom some of these posts, but, anyway, here are my VDW selection attempts for two races at Southwell.

Surely, the 100% strike rate will collapse today?

January 1, 2005.

240, Southwell, £13.4K C1 hcp 1m
CLOUD DANCER 77
Rafferty 50
Penwell Hill 48

310 Southwell, £13.3K C1 hcp 5f
DANCING MYSTERY 90
Quiet Times 22
Justalord 17

Oh dear. My own bet, placed last night, is Quiet Times, which I thought was a stand out!

Ah well, we'll see.

Bit of a rush, Tunkie, as I'm betting on Southwell, which is underway.

There could be some bad mistakes, and I'm no judge of NH.

I just did the 320 Chelters, as I take that to be top race.

Funny results. Not real VDW qualifiers, imo.

Here are the figures, anyway:

SPRING GROVE 142 (?)
Kandjar d'Allier 131
Supreme Prince 96

and the winner is ... Sring Grove.
That's odd, I'd thought that Europa had it in the bag!

100% record smashed by an eased up horse.

You may think the penny's dropped, Investor, but I think I've dropped something else that usually comes in pairs!

Didn't see or hear anything about the Chelters race bar the result, but I see the 2nd rated did get placed and beat the fav.

W.P
I have based the figures for Harchibald and silver birch on consistent form.Lord of illusion was 88 today,We can't just back them because of this but if other things line up they don't lose very often. Wink

vestor -

odly enough - it was cos I wanted to build a "core" who wanted to "Develop" on VDWs ideas -

some however simply want to "Go Around in the Same Old "Circles" - in an attempt to boost their own "Egos "

SAD !!

WP -

Good Question !!

-

The "High Priests" - decline to answer !!

-

I suggest that you have a look at a - "Win" when - Lowest - "SP" - lto !!!!

- That is "Bloody Good Form" !!

I won thousands running in footraces over the years.
Class was as important then as it is now & so was the handicap & current informness.
