The answer to Monday’s prohibited substance has been provided by Seanrua (not so bad at names after all) and ‘Dad’ (Trojan) let us know he knew too! It was indeed Roger Miller singing “King of the Road”.

Today’s flight of fancy is: What character said he was “Bored bored bored bored bored!”

Smile

As a reminder and to avoid disappointment (!) the month's winners will need to comply with rule #1:

1. Qualifying for the month needs a minimum of 5 races to have selection(s) in.

Back from hospital - false alarm - Damn inconvenient "practise contractions".

I kept yelling at her "what's all the fuss?" when I was trying to watch the racing.

The answer to Tuesday’s flight of fancy was given by Nofinepix.

Today’s find the brain-cell is: “All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health…” was in response to what question?

Thursday’s Final Fling

The last day of action for March, and the potential medallists were out in force!

Trojan
Ling 4.20 ESCOBAR 0.5 point e/w - That is 1 point in total staked. LOST unpl Frown
4.30 Clon. Endless Magic 1pt win WON 3/1 Smile

Old-Timer

Nofinepix
Doncaster 4.30 Hallucinate EW LOST unpl Frown

Rab
4.00 Donc Autumn Glory WON 15/8 Smile
5.00 Donc Ticero LOST unpl Frown

Trojan kept up his impressive recent form to land the Profit crown, and Old-Timer did just enough to hang on to the Strike Rate sceptre! The third noteworthy competitor this month was Rab. The three of them shared the medals in both categories.

Seanrua may wish to consider what happened in the ‘Profit’ stakes, as his performance in the Strike rate saw him finish 4th. (WP had only 3 selections). Perhaps consider less EW bets or use 0.5pt EW.

Nofinepix obviously decided to let me beat him in both categories, and did just enough today to let BlackCat pass without me having to make a selection! Thanks for that.

The last one I’ll mention is Ectoo, who had some bad luck with seconditis this month. They’ll all drop in for you in April.
