Okay fair enough but why are his postings on this forum so aggressive.
Going to anger management courses might help.

Aggresive Gummy? If my posts come across as agrresive I apologise, they are not meant to be. Perhaps you could enlighten me Gummy as to what you consider aggresive so I can moderate this in the future. As far as anger management is concerened,I don't get angry about anything posted on here, frustrated maybe but not angry.

Mr Gummy I also feel that you are letting yourself down by not moderating the forum to what I and other members feel a responsibility on YOUR PART.

As you know I run another forum pertaining to VDW, and you have also looked into migrating the older posts on this forum to a new forum. They do not cost alot but there could be probs to archive older posts but it is most definitely not beyond the realms of possibility.

Mr Gummy your forum has been out here for a long time and long may it continue but I feel you need to take a more of a hands on when it is desired of this thread.

To others perhaps a look at the 5 previous markets may give an idea and also be very aware of those going up and down in class - although down in class I think has a big thought on the Old Feller.

I will also use this opportunity to offer my sincere condolences to Mtoto.

I ask all of you on this board who contribute either negative or positive to pray and or wish him and his family all the best. Also to pray or wish the very best for them over the coming weeks, months and years.

Life is now in perspective please be constructive, we do not know how long we will be here or there for.

Kind Regards

reom

Hi Paul

You'll find the Course Matrix (Flat & NH) here, on a post by Mtoto.

Note that Johnd (I think it was) pointed out that Ascot (flat) should be marked as having a significant stretch uphill (which it is marked for NH). You'll have to get your colouring pencils out to add that in!! Smile

Cheers,

HI GUYS

Does anybody no of any other slight mistakes within the COURSE MATRIX listings for FLAT & NH. ( Brighton for example should this track not be listed as a uphill finish)

Does anybody no of any similar listings for tracks in Ireland and France

All I can say, Paul, is that Brighton HAS a slightly uphill finish - just as several other tracks do.
Epsom is another one, even though the majority of the 5f straight is downhill, hence the record fast times.

Among the most level finishing stretches must be the AW tracks, imo, and Windsor, while for downhill finishes, the one that sticks in my mind is Goodwood.

Does anyone agree?

The matrix doesn't necessarily point out the finish. Regarding the Uphill/Downhill check-boxes, it says "significant stretch of track".

So, according to the matrix, I would read Brighton as:

Left-handed, undulating with a significant downhill stretch.

And Epsom as:

Left-handed, tight, undulating with a significant downhill stretch.

Does that sound right?
