Trojan,

Just as well I couldn't find one in the race - the winner failed one of my filters. I knew I was right not to pick against you though!

Congratulations, a lesson to us all that it can be done. Thumb

Thanks Guys Thumb
I was just waiting as I expected a R4 for a NR - but no:
£562.50 profit from Presumptuous (Thank you Billy Hills - I'm gonna punish you even more because of your robbery dressed up as a "pricing error")

£100 loss on Tribal Dancer.

Net profit today is £462.50

Stuffing that into the Golf Bag gives a final total of £5,116.13 Big Grin

That's £5,000 to stop the Bailiffs, and £116.13 left over for a drink or 2 Drunk2

From somebody who has come in late let me say how impressed I am with your ability to pick horses that many overlook.
You have made these highly advertised tipsters look amateurs.
I am sure everybody is grateful for your generosity in sharing.
Good luck for the future.

Absolutely fantastic!!

I was wrong the other day when I said that this was one of the best threads on the net - it IS THE best thread on the net.

No smoke or mirrors, no ifs or buts, just good HONEST selections.

You are the man!!

The sun has finally set on this thread. Thank you all for your kind words - a bit of a fairytale ending to finish with such a nice-priced easy winner.

That winner was a long-time coming (first since last Thursday!!) - and I should really have put the thread to bed last Friday with OVERSTRAND.

Never mind, it just made it more exciting going right to the wire - didn't it?

Without, I hope, sounding egotistical, IMHO this has been a great thread. But this has only been possible with contributions and interaction from others - without these, the thread would have been just a monologue...and probably would have died after a week or so.

So, give yourselves a big hand - the following 16 FOTTs (Friends Of The Thread) without you the thread almost certainly would not have continued:

Applause

Atticus
Kingsley
JIB
Repeter
qwerty
Rab
Sparky219
Pitmatic
Old Timer
IMP
David Williams
Tony L
Walter Pigeon
Geraldproctor
Alpha2
Vegas

I am sure others will agree, that one can get very despondent "talking to oneself" on a thread. Call me weird, but I find it only polite to make the odd posting on a thread which I have looked at and find interesting. There are many many threads on Gummy that I have not looked at, but you will know which ones I have by my posting on them - perhaps just a smilie, a word of encouragement, an observation, a post of empathy..etc....(but, please, not just "I laid it" after the race - unless it's a laying thread Smile)

It saddens me that the Gummy Board has reached such a decline (not even a word from the Gaffer on this thread). I've tried my best to spark some life back into it. I'm afraid I'm about to embark upon the very stressful task of moving home - so, my time for Gummy and racing will be very limited over the coming weeks. I hope to be settled in a new home by the time the flat season settles down.

I plan on an intensive attack on the bookies this Summer. I was, therefore thinking of starting another thread when the time comes - perhaps during July and August, although I may very well try to sort something so only the 16 FOTTs are involved.

Good luck to all of you Wave

Thanks again young sir for your generosity and a most interesting and profitable thread. With your extra funds make sure that you spend some of them on making the house move less stressful.

Look forward to Mark 2 in the summer....be lucky.

As I said I may be late at the party but I appreciate quality and generosity.
All the best for the future and I hope (selfishly) you do post again in some form or the other.

Hope all goes well with the house move.

It would be excellent to see you have an "intensive" go at the bookies in the summer - the mind boggles as to what you will do when you get serious!! Thumb

Make sure when you move house that you remember to put the golf bag in the removal van. Moon2

Wave

Never mind Jose Mourinho - it is you who are the "special one".

Hello Trojan, I wish you well with your move to a new house. This thread and your other one for a chase a day have made my trips to the bookies enjoyable and profitable ones. I was fortunate enough to find some of my own to make up a winning each way double on a number of occasions.(One day every one will bet like this)
I wish you the best of luck in your new home, but more than this, I wish you good and improving health.

David Williams

P.S looking forward to you next assault on the bookies
