these horses have passed maxs filters plus the 80/20
the only 80/20 for jocks was dupont

i have been strict and kept to the 10% in all the races at aintree/hereford/lingfield.

its nice to see someone else is trying max bets it seems that since max has left no one has shown interest in his profitable system.
today you have gone for the 4.05 at wolve IN THE WOODS the trainer/jock are well out of form, can you tell me why you picked it, it did past all of max filters barring the trai/jock form

be lucky cabbie

Cabbie,

4:05 Wolv To The Woods.

Was the form rule not 'win or place in last 14 days'. Both of which are true strictly speaking (Jockey twice and Trainer once) although I do agree that I've seen better 14 day records.

CG

Dont know whats happened to this thread since Max vanished.
With regards to the form for T/J then CGeorge has answered it.I know it is a not the best but early prices allow a dutching for both and as Max said that was his way of getting his 90ish % strike rate even if the returns work out odds on some of the time.I dont mind a smaller return if the strike rate is that high

F1nut,

I don't know about you, but I have a struggle doing the filters, from an online access and time point of view, which means that its down to looking at individual races as opposed to all master list races in all meets, so I tend to look at races where the f/p 'indicates' a possible dutching opportunity on multiple animals and where I may be able to get an online early price then work on that race in more detail.

Some may disagree but it was easier to follow Max's selections when he put them up, him having aleady run his filters and based on his years of experience in running them and with his undoubted background knowledge, than to do the legwork itself.

Regards,

CG

Hi Lads
I for one am still VERY interested in this thread,
I just don't feel qualified enough with Max's
methods yet to get involved. I have been running
the selections put up for the Tannisworld system
through Max's original filters,so I am making
some progress, Hope you keep posting on here.

Regards Del

I know what you mean
I either have a quick look at the race for top trainers/jocks at course and disregard any race with lots of qualifiers if I have got more time or my preferred method is to look for race with short priced favs and see if they are opposeable as this usually gives higher odds to any sels or even if I cannot decide on the winner,as long as the favorite is out of the frame I will lay it on Betfair etc.

Well , we got wiped out today.Dont think we even got a placed horse. What sort of strike rate are we expecting folks ? Including Saturdays selections from Cabbie I believe we only have 1 winner from about 8 races (10/1 admittedly)
From reading the thread I had the general impression Max's SR was a little higher.

HI ALL

I'm still very interested in this thread.
I've been trying to follow Max's methods to the letter, as well as still doing about 12 hours at work, but so far have come up with very little as to bets and even less regarding winners, but i shall keep trying as i'm sure it is just down to it being the start of the flat.

we had 2 winners sat 10/1and 5/1 and we had a place today
if you look at maxs bets he did not pick his horses strictly to what he told us,i have said since max has left there is a lot more to his system to learn, but he has left us so between the people still trying to solve the problem perhaps we should put our ideas on the board,
my ideas is in his last day he put about 5/6 horses up, and they was all 80/20 trainer/jock/sire perhaps this might be a clue

Hi...I think to be fair Max's strike rate is a lot higher than this ....some of the results have been a little shall we say abnormal ....some would say normal for this time of year start of the flat waiting for form to settle etc etc....At the moment I do not have time to go through each race with Max's filters and then work out dutch etc.....What I do know is that I learnt a hard lesson the other sat 23rd March when I backed Pipe/Mcoy at odds on for heavy money at Bangor as they were bets through my process, needless to say they did not pass the filters .....had I listned to Max I would have saved a lot of money.
Which leads me to Sat just gone, I would have backed Seebald normaly for good money but realised it didnt pass the filters....it took a lot of doing but I resisted the bet and guess what...I saved a packet.....Thank you Max.....Ive also checked a few races that I lost on as best I could this time last year and guess what... I wouldnt have backed half the losers and only lost a few winners ...so Im very hopeful for the future again thanks to Max.
Regards.......
