2.40 York - "Jabaar" - Ew forcast around 6/1 - M.Easterby doesn't usualy mess around when he books Fallon - last run was a solid 3/4 l 2nd in a class B and again he looks to be back on the up. Same re Massey & D.Mail.

I have to admit nearly choked on my cuppa. I read your post and Epi's after I'd submitted, but I will have got to my selections via a wholly different route - the same way I came to the other selections I put up.

If you were implying I put those horses because of what had been posted earlier, (I have taken no umbrage to your LOL by the way), well
1. I don't do that sort of thing.
2. What would be the point? I'd learn nothing from it, and that IS what I want to do.

If you would like I could go into a detailed reason as to why I chose those horses, as per yesterday's response to JIB.

Ive had this before and the 2nd or further time(s) around you have to be careful as it can become haemorrhagic. However I ve revived a bit this morning, enough that is to make a complaint!

Investor has picked 3 horses, two of which have won. Yet you give his figs as 2/2. On my Donkey Register when I have more than one horse in a race the losers are counted even if I get the winner.

I fear the distinction between profit and loss and strike rate is being confused.

Further to my last post,Say for example t.c had only had one bet in the competition and he'd have put it up e.w and it won.Would this mean his s/r would be 200%,Would it buggery.

In a dutch or an e.w bet your already penalised by losing half of your stake,i can't believe your splitting hairs over this.

Why not settle for "Earnings per Bet" ?

As in the American "Ability Rating " calculation of "Earnings per start" !

I pick horse A. You dutch horses A and B.

You would have double the chance I would have because you have two selections to my one.

The current system favours your imprecision to the disadvantage of others who try for a clearer focus.
