I've found out recently that posting pre-race selections, even winners, are not appreciated.

Interestingly, the one who made the most noise at the time, claiming that selections weren't enough, it was explanations that were needed, today joined in. However, not only did he pick 2 short priced losers, which happens, but also failed to give us the breakdown, which was apparently my undoing, of how they were picked?

No, my reference was to VDW as a whole, and nothing to do with the how speed figures are made up.

You have no desire to spend hours on doing someone else's arithmetic. But at the same time you appear unwilling to put in your own effort on a subject that you are clearly interested in, but want the answers from others who have spent their time on it. If this is not the case, and you have actually studied his selections, which is a necessary step to take, then please accept my apologies, and I look forward to discussing your findings with you.

Lee - this is a challange thread - not the main VDW thread.

I put up my selections, together with brief comments regarding the selection. That is more than is required for the thread !!

The last selection I put up on the main thread - I gave many more reasons , and I would hope that anyone posting over there would do so, as that would encourage disscussion.

Long winded discussion on a challange thread would be counterproductive and I would expect such discussion to move over to the more appropriate main thread !

I make no claims (unlike others) to vast expertise on VDW - but I have repeatedly said that those who do so - should either demonstrate their credability by posting current selections - or answer in a straightforward manner - questions posed by people like Nessie as a request for "Further and Better" information !!

I don't think that I have "ever" asked a question - seeking "Information" from a VDW'r -

Reason ?????

Anyway - If you are not prepared to enter the spirit of this thread and post "Challenge Selections" - Why are you sitting on the sidlines - "Carping" ???
