Saturday morning, so time for a VDW-type selection attempt from me.

245 Haydock.

I rejected a few horses with better prize-money figures and came up ( or down) with
WOODCRACKER to place.

Eccentric and Red Lancer were my " runners up".

Well, my effort was absolutely useless!

Looks like something is wrong and also far too slow, even on TS.

hard luck Sean

I think Dahaaleez is well over priced in the 2.20 Leicester..if I was betting I'd quite like the 12.5/13/1 on offer on betfair at the moment.

JohnD,

Loyalty to Gummy - the ONLY reason I'm still posting and it is beginning to wear thin, particularly when you read some of the posts addressed specifically to him - ahem, 98% unanswered.

I suspect you may have read my deleted post (or been told about it) - if not don't worry I deleted it, if you did I apologise it was wrong to name you despite what you posted in fineform.

As for being a manager - I have no powers, I cannot edit posts, I cannot delete them. I can post "You are a very naughty boy, please stop or I'll post please stop again or I'll ask Gummy to intervene, hmm the geeezer who told the tide to hold back tides to mind". As for being a manager and ideas - surely that is the reason for being promoted, managers have no ideas!

Of the 4 managers - FJ has gone never to return, Tannis well I don't know but whatever he has going on I truly hope he gets it resolved, Nessie is busy making a bucket load of money with his software and bloody good luck to him, his software is very good and does exactly what it says on the tin. Me, the 4th one, press ganged and toothless.

So you're the expert on bets - give us one.

By the way if you really want to make money rather than just talking about how good a bet a horse 10 years ago was you really should check out Jeds thread and if the bloke decides to charge for his information you should sell your form books and put the money in your banks and bet what he says.

Over 40K in a few weeks. VDW made - as far as I can tell, nothing it was no bet.

I'm not up to speed with all of this Gummy thing, NFP and johnd, but, perhaps that's no bad thing.

here's something that may be an extremely bad thing, ie my weekly VDW attempt;

Right, first thing to do is get in the excuse and disclaimer; there is no proper VDW bet today, BUT ...

here's my rough go, anyway:

250 Newbury
Attraction
Nayyir
Major's Cast

325 Newbury
Mamool
Mubtaker
Gamut

Of these, my selections to place are

MAJOR'S CAST
MUBTAKER.

Pity, cos i really wanted to back indian summertime - judging by other factors.

Can I do as badly as last week? it would be difficult.

Btw, congrats to ECTOO for his good selections.
Nice to see you're still about. The rest of the forum is having a battering at present. Fkd if i can follow it. VDW is making more sense at the mo!!

Can't believe i said that.
