Presumably if he did bet he would have been unhappy!

Still if thats how they get their enjoyment I suppose its better than watching trafic lights change colour!

There are a number of refugees from this thread on there, (Economic migrants who couldn't find a worthwhile living on here? Smile).
Judging by some of their unoriginal user names, many of them are still sheep who cannot think for themselves, and will surely follow ' the Judas goat' to their inevitable extinction.
Haven't laughed so much since Dr Devious found out I hadn't infiltrated his nursery school. Big Grin

HE,He,

You should look a little more before you leap.

Lee has put up two 2/1 winners a 4/1 and an 8/1
Barney has put up a 4/1 a 10/1 with forcast correctly named at 6/1 a 20/1 third(eight runner)
Fulham has put up a 3/1 a 6/1 and more recently an 8/1.
Hedgehog has put up winners day in day out at 6/4 2/1 3/1 and 5/2.
Gatwick put up 6/1 and 5/1 winners AND he also mentioned a loser.
Vanman is checking everyones horses and telling them when to go in heavy with a big hit.
and of course everyone, not to be outdone, is helping everyone else.

More or less a constant stream of winners giving winners. When interpreted correctly.

Has anyone on here got the flat ability rating from the 1977 flat form books for the horses in the Erin I.e Drumgora, Prominent king, Beacon Light, Sea Pigeon, Decent Fellow, and Mr Kildare?

From a VDW perspective, 1977 is pretty recent.

WOW!!! I must stop reading this thread whilst under the influence of hallucinatory substances

I somehow think Barney is using the name PRO on that forum from the way JD put it,
The image of him standing under a tree wearing an orange jumper at Haydock selling the big issue has stuck with me for years,Smile

And as for Fulham posting an 8/1 winner before the off takes the biscuit,More like a 7 horse dutch and trapped the 5th rated horse,He might not even have bet it as it fell lto

PKB,

I'm having trouble recognising the imaginative discriptions of your fellow members in Tony Peachs' house of clowns;

Lee as far as I can observe has posted nothing.

Barney (Vanman) has made a huge amount of selections interspersed with vast details on the kinks and cambers of course configuration that he seems to think of vital importance. If he has managed the winners you mention he is still massively in debt.

Fulham (AlanB) mentions several horses before the off. If one wins he later claims it was the c/f horse and adds a lot of reasons why the losing mentions were not bets. You should ask him if he still has to make racing pay by purchasing Mr David Lyons tips and backing and laying the pricewise selections.

As far as I can tell Hedgehog has a SR in single figures, weeks go by without a winner,

Gatwick is still on the runway.

Dear Pro is of course confusing everyone not least himself and taking great delight in not betting on losers, which not being as sexy as backing winners seems an eccentrically worthless passtime. .

On the whole most of your fellow members seem to spend hours agonising over the fav in posh races, still if they were brain surgeons they wouldnt be on the dole. Its just as well that Mr William Hill is a patient man,

As for helping each other, only in the manner of mutual backslapping, brown-nosing, and pathetic charm to try and learn a valuable secret. You are of necessity kind to each other by ignoring the godawful tipping thus sustaining the mutual fantasy..

It is clear from reading the threads that Tony Peach has found himself a bonny bunch of chumps to jolly along and flog things to.

JohnD,

Have to say I'm surprised you haven't grasped this opportunity to amaze the forum with your undoubted brilliance. If you have anything of any use to offer surely now would be the time. This once great thread has now reached rock bottom and not a mention of VDW. I wouldn't worry that anyone will steal your ideas, judging by your lack of success they are worthless.

JIB,

Is there no pleasing you. You don't like VDW but you now go looking for the other forums so you can take the p1ss. Very strange carry on for someone with your undoubted intelligence and knowledge. You should be happy that this site is no longer used by these people to further their interest in VDW.

No, I haven't joined this other forum and at the moment not likely too. I can't see how any public forum about VDW can progress very far. There will always be those that don't want to put in the hard work and just lurk. Nobody will ever spell it all out. There will always be those that know little that will hide behind that fact, and use it when pushed to explain their thinking. Although with AlanB there it maybe possible to learn something of use. In a straight choice between JohnD and AlanB I know who I would listen too, so your lose is their gain!!

Be Lucky

Mtoto,

As one of the few intelligent vdwers its not surprising that you havent rushed aboard Tony Peachs' becalmed junk. You will no doubt have noticed the dire level of its contributions.

I have remarked in the past that your loyalty to Fulham/AlanB is noble of you, but you yourself have distanced yourself from his methods, your respective views on the place of speed figs in the methods being irreconcilable.

Just as you have found that the vdw methods have had to move away from their original orthodoxy so too has this thread. You have incorporated your sfs, others are interested in doing similar manoeuvres, generally such movement is a sign of life.

Its certainly more promising than the other crowd who like dimwitted medical students with a 30 yo corpse still cant understand how it works,

Surely you can see that a collegiate who takes Investor seriously is in a dreadful state of delusion.

"This once great thread" has "hit rock bottom" once or twice in the past, most notably when you and your cronies used it as a recruiting ground for your own, entirely selfish, ends; To wit, to form a private thread by purloining members from Gummy.
As I predicted at the time, the private thread atrophiedBig Grin, and the sad scheming one was once again left high and dry, but still he persists in his vain pursuit of the knowledge he so obviously doesn't possess.
I can comfort myself that his 'Jonah' effect will eventually help wreck his new home, safe in the knowlege that this thread will outlive its latest rival, and once again, you and your 'friend in need' will be marooned on another desert island.
That is of course, unless I die laughing in the meanwhile1
