I am four from five so far this season and up 38.5 pts at SP.

Cabinets' last two runs last season saw him putting in excellent performances closely behind two winners who are now rated 101 and 103 respectively. Cabinet is lightly raced, but not because there is anything fragile about him, but because his people are professionals and are bestowed with the patience necessary for that epithet. He was always going to come into his own as a 4yo and has been saved in due accord. He's probably 20 or 30 kgs heavier this spring and that will be all muscle and he is going to be impressive today, he has most certainly been placed to win.

A miserable price! But my $110 has gone on at 9/4.

what do you think its overall target will be jib the john smiths? or will handicap company be below him

Its hard to tell at this stage.

At the moment I have Cabinet as a 100+ horse on a mark of only 93. There is only one horse in todays race rated at 100, Rio Riva, so he has been placed to win this £20k hcp.

I think there are two factors that will decide if he stays in the C2 hcp division or moves up into listed or beyond.

The first is what the Handicapper will do with him after today, and secondly it will depend on what else Mr Stoute has in his stable for this distance as ideally he wouldn't want to compete against himself for the same prizes.
