No bullshit, no aftertiming, no smoke and mirrors, the post means exactly what it says.
Note the emphasis on pre-race posting.
Would that others do the same, this thread might progress!

Greg
Unaccustomed as I am to exaggeration, you are 1,000% correct Smile

Very unfortunate that kempton has been abandoned,You could well have made it 2 from 24 bets,It would have done wonders for your s/r.Keep on dreaming chap.

Sean,

I think you will remember that a few years ago what were known as mental institutions were closed and the unfortunate inmates were left to be cared for by the community.

Investor is one of the less successful examples of cost-cutting being disguised as humanitarism.

I believe Marine White had the right idea when he chased him around Portsmouths' RN loony bin with a knife.

The only reason he is still hanging around here is that he has completely failed to impress Fulham etc on the other forum, though he has managed to get together a few scarecrows who think he has leadership potential, but its obvious they do not constitute the companionship he's looking for.

Plus the fact he's a bit suspicious about the forum set up over there as whole threads disappear especially if they are about to show some poor thinking by the 'leading lights.'

Everytime some poor sod called 'Girocheque' starts a thread exposing some serious flaw in the 'Pegwell Bay' example the whole thread including friend Investors contribution is flushed down the toilet.

Even aftertiming can be embarrassing!

I live very near to a mental institute,Which houses a very good golf course.I regularly play this prior to racing starting,What a wonderful life.Much better than trudging up and down the jungle with a collander for panning and a bow and arrow,Still whatever takes your fancy. Wink

Tommorow's Racing Post Chase could ruffle a few feathers amongst the traditionalists.
Farmer Jack is meeting lesser horses than he beat lto, whereas Colonel Frank takes a marked step up in class. No contest, then?
Personally, I think that CF will win, and that FJ may not even gain a place!

Johnd,

CF suspiciously Knocked a leg in a box last week when the realization set in that he had to meet horses rated 20-30lb better on level terms.

FJ has been invited to the Nakasaka world chase this week.

The run up towards Cheltenham seems to produce some very odd results in the prep races !

Nothing of course to do with the SPs at which the horses might go off at in the Festival !!!

VDW attempt:

345 Kempton.

Shortlist:
TIKRAM
Palarshan
Farmer Jack
See You Somewhere.

Of these, only Farmer Jack and Palarshan are in the betting top six.

Apparently, stamina will be a big issue in the likely conditions ( mud).

No bet for me in this.

My short list would be:

SELECTION______CR____AR____RPM____TS___LTO V&D
Farmer Jack_____8___139*___167*__130*__290/3.0*
Tikram_________12___152*___161___161*__348/3.0*
Gunther McBride_8___134____161___145*__145/3.2*
Colonel Frank___3*___82____164*__129___149/3.05*

with no preference for any.

Farmer Jack has the most *'s, but not confident at todays wt. Also btn recently by Palarshan.

At todays prices, Tikram may be the best value (16.5BF).

Good luck today... and Chelski for the Cup tomorrow! Smile

Investor,

CF could also stand for Colonel Frank, not necessarily course/form, which I think is what was meant in this case. In your eagerness to score personal points, like some others who subscribe to this thread, you may have jumped too soon.

So, FJ has proved the last outing was no fluke. He can do the distance and the weight. I didn't think old Banker Count would be up there though, bless him (13 y.o.).
