Nearly pee'd myself laughing! Big Grin Where is this thread; I've looked on the Betfair forum and can't find a thing?

Looks like our old 'friends' are up to their usual tricks on The Racing Forum also; fishing for members again.
These people will stop at nothing to try and increase their questionable knowledge, so it's hardly surprising that they won't draw the line at badgering an old codger.
As Walter says, loyalty counts for a lot in some circles, so does integrity.
These guys have constantly shown a lack of what should be basic human values. Sad, really! Roll Eyes

Yes Walter I did consider it,but then dismissed it,i also considered US Ranger and Tonante today as well, and let both run.It beggars belief sometimes, it is a hard game for sure.

I don't know where I'm going wrong,one minute flying,then bang bang,back to square one.

Pipedreamer its difficult to know where you are going wrong at times.
I would say my fav method is waiting till a horse is placed in a race where it has a lot going for it.
This is what im doing currently with Basaata but you do have to be patient.
It`s not vdw PD but its the method that i enjoy the most trying to 2nd guess the trainers intentions.
At Brighton this afternoon 4.20 Summer Recluse has been placed to best advantage for a while and im on win and place 5.00 & 1.64 still 4 places available only 13 runners 3 n/r`s so i`ll be deducted if he wins or places.
Im happy with my bet but a word of caution is needed for anyone else looking to join in.
This is a frustrating horse who often gets held up and finds trouble in getting through at the business end.
He is drawn stall 1 today so will start from the inside and will be dropped out he will probably find trouble in running again but i`ll take my chance. The ground has also changed but he has gone on this ground before.
Best of luck to anyone brave enough to join in Smile.

Thanks Walter!
Having read it, you have to wonder who's the one suffering with dementia? Big Grin
Not to believe what VDW wrote about his war experiences would bring everything else he wrote into question, which would hardly be the cue for driving round Leicestershire searching for him, would it?
I guess it's all a mattter of whom you trust, VDW or Titanic?

Im on Nordwind at 13.00 & 3.30 win and place in the next at Warwick for the 1pt like Summer Recluse yesterday.
Up in trip and weight today so could be a training run but he could go close if it`s not worth a wee bet to find out. Will up stakes on him in future if need be.

If you go back to July 17th i gave mention to Idle Power on this thread who finished placed at Kempton at 2.88. The horse goes today in the Salisbury 4.30 he is available at 23.0 to win & 4.7 to place at the moment. He has a chance in here on his best form and ive gone in with a point bet split 20/80% win & place 4 places available.
This is the 2nd time ive bet the horse but no need to raise stakes as we won of him last time with the place bet.

To add to my collection of very thin books, such as "The Wit and Charm of John Mcririck" and "How To Win Friends And Influence People" by Fred West?
You betcha, Boozer! Big Grin
