Having backed Gorgeous George at Ascot VDW's words are ringing in my ears "in the winners enclosure next time when nobody wants to back him",I'll let it run today.

I think most are missing the real answer Pipedreamer but it`s good that some of us are still here. As Guest stated a while back as the time passes less and less people will be aware of VDW and his teachings and as a consequence his name & the methods will pass away un-noticed. I never bothered to buy the form books myself as let`s be brutally honest about it unless you had an idea what you were to look for it would be akin to looking for the proverbial needle in a haystack. What we are left with now is the odd benefactor popping in now and again to throw us a cryptic bone, tis all very sad indeed .

Truth is, it's the whole forum that's going down the tube. A great pity, as it was once a truly brilliant website. Until Gummy either shows more interest, allows the forum to go public, or hands over responsibilty to someone else, it will stumble on with its dozen active members and 2 or 3 posts a day, until there is nothing at all left. This forum has spawned quite a few imitators over the years, at least 4 dealing with VDW stuff, none of which hold a candle to what we once had on here. Maybe the flame can be rekindled, but without more posters taking an interest, it doesn't look at all good.
Hi there, Mtoto; third visit in a short space of time? What have you to say for yourself?

Hi there, Mtoto; third visit in a short space of time? What have you to say for yourself? John, What would you like me to say? I think you post above just about says it all, except I think the downfall of the VDW thread had nothing to do with Gummy. It was the abuse plain and simple. As you say there are still VDW forums and they are fairly active. Although there isn't too much abuse, they are still having problems with the folk that think they know it all, but who are not prepared to explain anything. I don't know if you know, dear old Mr Peach has written yet another book about VDW. Most probably the same old same, it will only cost £15/17 to find out. It is being advertised on the Browzers Book site address http://www.browzersbooks.co.uk/VDW.htm. My recent vists to this board are to try to re read some of the old posts as I had a burglary. loosing my computers and back up disks. Just trying to sort a few questions out. Be Lucky

Without covering old ground, it has little to do with abuse, otherwise the rest of the forum wouldn't be in the same state. Thanks for the link, though I doubt Tony Peach has anything new to offer. Certainly wouldn't suggest anyone spends £17 to find out.

Truely Enchanting 1.30 Newmarket is trading at 2.74 for a place & 9.00 for the win. Has a squeak in this.
