PKBoy,
I am beginning to think that it must be race 486 where VDW had him as a good thing,I can make a case for him in that race, but race 650 is difficult to see how the runner up can be dismissed.

Well now,

A piss poor evaluation on my part, I didnt even note the LTO injury to Siberian Highness in its last race and consider whether the poor performance was possibly down to the injury sustained.

Pipedreamer,

Pragmatic and Inside Quarter were the principle races on the second day of the york meeting and to my mind "recent" in the context of the letter when written. Have you any doubt about which race Inside Quarter was considered a good thing?

Heathcote 1240L Frown 2nd

Good Citizen 150L has been placed to win. Frown Superglue!

And I'll put down Dont Be Shy 245H, which is nailed and bolted, because someone dropped a bollock and I got on at 2.6! Smile

Stonecrabstomorrow 125W also looks a different class to the opposition. Frown 2nd

ahh. Bot spanking.

Needs no special skill - but numerically is rewarding. And there you were talking about Gentlemans conduct - bugger that!

Still think at the very least he should apologise.

Manners maketh man.

Anybody read anything Jed has posted?

The bloke has now made more in a few months than some body who didn't exist made in umpteen fixtures.

NFP,

A previous member, Jimmy, who has a v sharp mind, pointed out that the real money is to be made on sports betting.

His principal media are basketball and american football, which with their huge number of betting opportunities everyday allow him to practice what he calls his 'pile them high and sell them cheap' philosopy, which, if I understood him correctly, is about having a small margin but large turn-over of betting opportunities. He was v disparaging about VDW.

I am a lost cause as I really only bet for fun, and I adore the puzzle of working out horseracing, the satisfaction of getting it right is reward enough. Obviously like most things we endeavour to get better at it so as to gain greater enjoyment.

Made my money today - no thought, no reason just made money.

I know what you mean JIB - but it is nice to have a complete no brainer subsidise what I think.

I guess the reappearance of Barney was the final nail in VDW's coffin.

So it really is a crock of shit.

Bunch of wankers (and JohnD is the biggest wanker of all) talking up a really good race - after it's been run.

That is VDW - full stop.

Fine, if you're wanker.

JohnD,

I'm sorry. I was in a bad mood. However, I'm not now - but my opinion is much the same now without the personal slur. Which I guess doesn't make it much better!

I do wish you good luck if this really is how you make your money.

Cooor. This is doing well.

What was wrong with Hello Roberto and Kylkenny (come on even with aftertiming Kylkenny was a "class form consistent distance going" horse) - look at his record you vdw muppets. I know, no bet - we don't look at those type of races don't you know. So given those 2 horses why the **** not, ****in' muppets - so many missed opportunities.

I hope you don't bet BOS for the GC.

Jeez I have much to learn - but at least I do!

Still we have a worthwhile meeting coming up - don't we?

If you want to prove VDW surely this is the meeting.

Give the bets just after you have been matched - no need for stake, just the odds. But before the race has started - now that is a real problem.

Ask yourself just one question;

Why are you so obsessed with VDW?

If you can forget your public personna, and be completely honest with yourself, you may even surprise yourself!

ps Cheltenham selections will be no problem. The why's and wherefore's you will have to figure out for yourself. Lighten up ffs. Smile
